Hello, I am the owner of the Netstar9 Childcare group of nurseries. My reason for entering childcare in 2001 was because of my daughter Holly and wanting to provide her with the best possible child care in a home from home setting which I could personally help influence and shape. Since 2001, Netstar9 Childcare has aspired to be the nursery provider of choice across the North West, delivering continually improving childcare excellence in the communities it serves, Blackburn School House, Preston Busy Bears and Lytham St. Anne’s Summerfield. I am continually proud of my teams that have your trust to nurture, develop and grow your children, with the best possible care in a safe and secure home from home environment. I have worked in childcare since 1998 and for Netstar 9 since 2009. I have had various roles and opportunities whilst working across the early years spectrum, starting many years ago as a nursery practitioner, room leader, through to management. I work as netstar9’s area manager, supporting 3 highly skilled teams, in Preston, Lytham St Annes and Blackburn. I am passionate about being involved in delivering high quality, innovative and effective care, and education to early years children. I have a depth of knowledge not only through having hands on experience but from years of studying early years and completing BA Hons in Early years education 2011. It is also paramount to continue to keep up to date with current thinking to ensure we are always developing and moving forward, in this ever changing and challenging environment. I believe that success comes from within and that commitment, passion and dedication are essential to deliver the best service possible. Children are at the heart of everything I do and are all valued as individuals who deserve to experience the absolute best childcare possible, making learning both educated and fun.

I have worked in childcare for 20 years. My experience has been gained from working with ages 0-5 years and working with children with special educational needs. I have worked as a nursery practitioner, room leader, deputy manager and nursery manager. Working within all roles has given me lots of experience that I am able to use to support my role and my staff team. I believe that having strong management and leadership skills and being passionate and committed to my role helps to drive the nursery team to provide excellent service alongside giving friendly professional advice to all our families. I believe that the team at Summerfield Day Nursery are outstanding and we strive to ensure that every child’s individual needs are at the heart of everything we do. We pride ourselves on being fully inclusive and providing an exciting and inspiring environment in which all the children in our care can learn, develop and flourish.

Hello my name is Chelsea and I have worked in childcare for 7 years gaining my experience working with ages 0-5 years. I have been at Summerfield since 20217 and have had previous managerial experience in childcare settings and feel confident in my role at Summerfield Day Nursery helping to support the Nursery and the Team. I am a very motivated person and enjoy what I do. I live locally with my husband and I have an 8 year old son and a daughter aged 1 who currently attends Summerfield, having children of my own. I know first-hand how important it is to feel secure about leaving your children in a happy, safe environment whilst being a working parent. Since my first day at Summerfield I have always felt very welcome and part of a strong team. My Role at Summerfield Day Nursery is to support the team within the nursery on a daily basis to ensure that we are all providing outstanding care to the children in the setting. I have good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, planning and safeguarding. I have formed good relationships with key children and parents within the setting. I am passionate and enthusiastic in my work and love being involved in the development of the children.

Hello my name is Chloe and I am the manager at School House Day Nursery. I have undergone lots of different training such as: Safeguarding Children levels 1 & 2, Paediatric first aid, Behaviour training, Letters and Sounds, Ofsted are you ready. And level 2 qualification in Management and team leading. My special interest in early years is supporting children to be school ready ensuring all the basic areas of development are fully met and children are supported well, developed independence and are fully ready to start school. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and going on holiday exploring new cultures. Moving forward as manager I aspire to ensure my team have the same passion and commitment to the children withing the setting giving them the best possible start in life.

I have a BA Hons Education and Inclusion. I am currently training to gain my PGCE, in teaching post 16. Through doing this I have impeccable knowledge of how best to support and teach my staff to be the best practitioners they can be. I have been with the company since 2012. I have worked my way through the nursery, starting as a Baby Room Leader, 2-3 Room Leader, on to a floor manager and then on to the manager. I believe that throughout the setting my strong leadership and management skills, along with my passion and commitment drive the team here and their practice. Ensuring that each child is cared for and educated to the best of their ability, whilst having lots of fun and new experiences within the setting.

Hello I am Danielle and have worked for Netstar 9 Childcare since 2013. I have a rounded knowledge in the Early Years sector, Leadership and Management, and Marketing and Design. I love creating and designing as this compliments my personality and skills. I find creative tasks to be interesting and highly rewarding. Seeing something you have created yourself and having your team use it to benefit the children’s education, its fantastic to see. I create digital designs such as logos, leaflets, posters, promotional material, social media campaigns advertisements so I am familiar with typography, colour schemes and current trends. I research and self-teach myself new skills continuously, to enhance my development in this field. I write blogs and news events for the company website in order to maintain Intermatic with our customer base. I pride myself in my professionalism and my organisational skills, but most importantly following an ethos of being a positive energy for people to bounce off and make work enjoyable and exciting.
