Meet the Team

Hello my name is Sonia and I have worked in childcare for over 20 years. My experience has been gained from working with ages 0-5 years and worked with children with special educational needs. I have worked as a nursery practitioner, room leader, deputy manager and nursery manager. Working within all roles has given me lots of experience that I am able to use to support my role and my staff team. I believe that having strong management and leadership skills and being passionate and committed to my role helps to drive the nursery team to provide an excellent service alongside giving friendly professional advice to all our families. I believe that the team at Summerfield Day Nursery are outstanding and we strive to ensure that every child’s individual needs are at the heart of everything we do. We pride ourselves on being fully inclusive and providing an exciting and inspiring environment in which all the children in our care can learn, develop and flourish.
